There have been incidents of individuals and organisations contacting people under false pretence and offering services or employment opportunities that do not exist at Goldshield Limited. The objective of these "offers" is to trick people into making advance payments or providing personal information in exchange for visas, air fares and other expenses. The recruiter/agent often demands substantial sums of money to be paid. It is not possible to trace the fraudulent recipient of such payments.

As a matter of policy Goldshield Limited never ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job, either as an employee or as a contractor. Goldshield Limited will never ask for payments towards travel expenses or visas/work permits. If you are ever asked for such payments, you should assume that such offers or services provided by these individuals and organisations are not genuine.

When Goldshield Limited carries out a recruitment process, a candidate will always meet in person with a Goldshield Limited employee or representative for an interview before any formal offer is made.

Email correspondence relating to employment with Goldshield Limited will never be sent either from (or to) free web-based email accounts.

If your personal details are requested by anyone claiming to be part of Goldshield Limited or a recruitment agent claiming it is acting on behalf of Goldshield Limited and you are unsure of the legitimacy of the request, please contact our Human Resources Department on 0808 124 0006.

Goldshield Limited take this matter extremely seriously. We pass information relating to these fraudulent activities to the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
